Shorter Hours Make for a Sweet Week

With less time in the classroom each day, students found this week to be a breath of fresh air — and a perfect warm-up for spring break.

By Olivia • Staff Reporter • Managed by William

This week was unlike any other on the school calendar. With shorter hours in class each day, students and teachers found themselves working with a trimmed schedule — and the results were surprisingly wonderful. Less time in the building meant more focus, more energy, and a whole lot more excitement buzzing through the hallways.

Rather than the usual full day, the shortened classroom hours gave everyone a chance to breathe, recharge, and still get through everything that needed to be covered. Teachers packed their lessons with purpose, and students showed up ready to make every minute count.

"Shorter hours, bigger smiles. That about sums up the week."

— Gwen, Staff Reporter

As the week draws to a close, students can look back with pride on what they accomplished in less time than usual. Homework was turned in, participation was strong, and the whole building had an undeniable spring-break-eve kind of energy.

Little Buddies Brings Big Smiles All Around

By Gwen & Olivia • Managed by William

This week's Little Buddies session was nothing short of wonderful. Students had the chance to spend time with their little buddies, and the joy on everyone's faces said everything that words cannot fully capture. Laughter filled the room, activities were shared, and bonds were strengthened.

Older students stepped up as role models, showing patience, creativity, and genuine care for their younger partners. The little ones brought an infectious energy and enthusiasm that lit up the whole room.

"It was so fun," said one student. "My little buddy was really funny and we had the best time." Smiles everywhere, high-fives at the door — a day well spent.

"Little Buddies is one of those things that reminds you why school is great."

— Ryne, Staff Reporter
